OPeNDAP/NVODS Technical Working Conference

The next OPeNDAP (a.k.a. DODS) technical working conferences is scheduled for 19-21 March 2003 at the Green Center of UCAR in Boulder, Colorado. The meeting is targeted at those either using the OPeNDAP Data Access Protocol (or DAP), developing software related to the DAP, or potentially interested in making use of the DAP in their data system work. We anticipate a number of presenations from those in one of the first two groups (using or developing software related to the DAP). In addition, we will have breakout sessions focused on specific technical issues related to the continuning evolution of the DAP. In order to plan for the meeting we would like to get a sense of the number of presenters and number of attendees as soon as possible. To this end I would appreciate a response by 15 January if you plan to attend. If you are interested in presenting your work in a 15 minute (TBR) time slot, please send me a tentative title, also by the 15th. I'll send out a reminder to this list on the 10th. A response at this time does not of course commit you to attending or presenting, it is simply for planning purposes. If you would like your name removed from the e-mail list associated with this meeting, please respond to this message with "Remove my name from the OPeNDAP technical conference e-mail list" in the subject field. (This will not remove your name from the DODS-Tech list, from which part of the conference e-mail list was drawn.) If you would like to add someone else's name to the list, please send me a message with the individual's e-mail address and I'll take care of it. Thanks for your interest. paul (phemenway@gso.uri.edu) ps. I am cross-posting this message to several lists. I appologize for multiple messages if you get more than one. Also, if you have responded with a tentative title already, I have you on the list and you need not reply again.
