Continue Regions?

Two regional coordinators have dropped out: Southeast and Great Lakes. The West Coast region is moving forward but only slowly. The Northeast and Gulf Coast are active although neither has nailed down a hard project yet. Should we continue with the regional concept? I see the following possibilities:

• Abandon regions and use the funds for a couple of national projects.

• Abandon the regions with no coordinator.

• Replace the coordinators.

• Substitute new regions where there appears to be more interest (U Hawaii for the Great Lakes.
