NVODS Proposal

Our proposal was divided into two phases (as requested in the BAA): a planning phase and an implementation phase.

In the proposed effort 23 primary and 27 secondary partners were identified.

• The primary partners are data providers at the national (international) level and/or are involved in system developement.
  
  
• The secondary partners are data providers at the regional level.

Of the primary partners, 15 (representing 13 groups) have remained quite active, 5 have continued to participate and 3 have effectively dropped out.

It is too early to evaluate the continued participation of the secondary partners, their primary involvement is to take place in the implementation phase of the project.

There are at least 12 other groups that are actively participating in the overall effort.

Over 30 groups at more than 25 different institutions are actively involved in the DODS effort.
