Accessing the same PMEL Data Set via MATLAB GUI

• The data set and variable of interest are selected via the Matlab GUI; the URL is automatically constructed.
  
  
• The data are requested (the data button is clicked in the browser); the URL is issued to the server.
  
  
• The subset of data requested are returned to the client application and missing values are automatically replaced with not-a-number.
  
  
• A plotting option is selected via a dialog box and the data are plotted.
