DODS Matlab Client and GUI on Matlab 4 ====================================== Due to the growing difference between the current CMEX compiler and the Matlab 4 CMEX compiler, the DODS Matlab client and GUI will soon no longer support Matlab 4 This directory contains the latest version of the Matlab client (2.22) that we have compiled under Matlab 4. Several further version can be compiled under ML 5 and run under ML 4 by using the -V4 and V4_COMPAT flags. Download the DODS-ml-gui-binary-3.0.3.tar.gz file and unpack it (e.g., 'gunzip -cd DODS-ml-gui-binary-3.0.3.tar.gz |tar xvf -'). Next, download the DODS Matlab command line client (one of the DODS-ml-cmdln* files) for your platform and unpack it. Now, move the two loaddods.m* files and the writeval file into the DODS/bin directory produced by unpacking the GUI tar file. Go to the DODS/bin/matlab-GUI directory and create soft links to the loaddods.m* and writeval files (i.e., 'cd DODS/bin/matlab-GUI', 'ln -s ../loaddods.m', 'ln -s ../loaddods.mex*', and 'ln -s ../writeval').
