This virtual machine was prepared for use as part of a one-day in class in writing server-functions presented at NASA's Langely Research Center in May 2012. The course material is on-line at: http://docs.opendap.org/index.php/A_One-day_Course_on_Hyrax_Development The virtual machine runs openSUSE Linux 12.1 and includes a build version of Hyrax 1.8.2 (with a small set of handlers - hdf4, freeform and a few others) along with a complete development environment (compilers, etc) and Eclipse.
